Alistair Hill was born in Cape Town, South Africa. After traveling the world he decided to start a career in graphic design. After being part of a team developing an interactive CD-Rom teaching people Zulu he decided to go out on his own and become a freelance web and new media developer. He was then recruited by Saatchi & Saatchi in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as the head of the new media department. On returning to South Africa he carried on as a freelancer and started lecturing desk top publishing at Ruth Prowse School of Art, where after two years he became the Head of the Graphic Design Department.
After starting a new design company in 2005 Liquid Lime Studio with two partners, he resigned from Ruth Prowse and took more of a managerial role at Liquid Lime Studios. Alistair has worked with Adobe at the 2006 Cannes film festival, 2006 Adobe Design Achievement Awards and now the 2007 Sundance Film Festival as a project manager.
