Adobe Youth Voices is a global philanthropic initiative that empowers youth in underserved communities worldwide to "create with purpose" by using multimedia and digital tools to communicate and share their ideas, demonstrate their potential, and take action in their communities. Adobe Youth Voices shows the power technology brings to learning and enabling youth to think creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively — critical 21st century skills.

Adobe believes in revolutionizing how the world engages with ideas and information. By harnessing the energy and insight of youth and enabling them to express themselves, their opinions, and aspirations, Adobe Youth Voices aims to inspire a dialogue for change in their communities.

The initiative will engage youth from marginalized communities worldwide in exploring and commenting on their world using video, multimedia, digital art, web, animation, and audio, enhance the skills and knowledge of educators to use the tools more effectively with youth, and widely exhibit the student work in community, broadcast and online forums.

To make this happen, Adobe has committed financial resources, software donations and employee volunteer support over the next five years and is working with leading youth media organizations to bring best practices and the "create with purpose" philosophy to youth and educators in classroom and out of classroom settings around the globe.

Currently, youth 13-18 years old in seven cities (New York, Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose, London, Noida and Bangalore) are participating in the program at 41 schools and community-based organizations. Adobe Youth Voices is proud to support  the attendance and participation of young media makers from the Educational Video Center, Listen Up, Spy Hop, Bay Area Video Coalition and Reel Grrls  in Adobe's Sundance festival activities.
